Soulo Photos is solely run by self taught photographer, Derrick Routt. The name Soulo Photos came from Derrick constantly going on photography journeys by his lonesome to take most of the photos seen in the places category. The word soulo is also a nickname for Derrick's favorite rapper, Ab-Soul. Ab-Soul has made a big influence in Derrick's life teaching him the ways of enlightenment through his lyrics and scriptures. Soul is incorporated into the name to inspire people to get in touch with ones inner self, to only allow positive energy into their lives.
